Several churches around Williamson County are helping to host Refresh, a concert featuring local bands, in Crockett Park on May 18.

Admission to the concert is free admission but an offering will be collected and canned goods for a food drive, benefitting GraceWorks Ministries. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and goes until 9.

GraceWorks is a local non-profit whose mission statement is: united by a common loyalty to Jesus Christ, we are dedicated to sharing the hope and grace of God by helping our neighbors in need.

It will be in the Eddie Arnold Ampitheater, and three local worship bands will play along with a motivational speaker.

The churches participating are: Brentwood United Methodist, Brentwood Baptist, Otter Creek Church of Christ and Holy Family Catholic Church.

“This very contemporary service will highlight the community and unite everyone under a single name, Jesus Christ,” said promoter Marshall Nathan in a press release.
