Nashville Predators continue to make history by drawing big crowds, with 17,000 inside the Bridgestone Arena and another 50,000 outside to cheer on the hometown team. As game 6 comes back to Bridgestone Arena it will also be the last day of CMA Fest. It was announced on Saturday that Luke Bryan will perform for the crowds on the rooftop at Tootsie’s beginning at 6 p.m. This will be the last home game for the Predators and a pivotal one.
In the video montage above, you can see the incredible line-up of country music stars who have performed the National Anthem at Preds home games, including Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Vince Gill, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson and Tricia Yearwood.
It was Martina McBride who performed at the June 3 at Bridgestone with Hank Williams Jr. waving the rally towel.
We’ve been waiting to see if Dierks Bentley would perform, Bentley has been suffering from voice issues and canceling a few shows. He has since recovered continuing his tour and also performed the National Anthem at Bridgestone for Game 4.
We are still holding out for Dolly, please Dolly come sing the National Anthem. As we mentioned this will be the last home game in the series. We have a feeling that the selection might be Captain Mike Fisher’s wife- Carrie Underwood.
Fisher told the NHL that he’d like to see his wife perform the National Anthem at every home game.
“I would like to see her [Carrie] do every game, to be honest,” he said. “She’s 1-0.”
We know that Underwood will be at the game so that’s a strong possibility. In the same article, other players weighed in on who they’d like to see perform with Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, and Garth Brooks getting some votes.
So, we are putting it to a vote again. Who do you want to perform on tonight?
