Whiskey Master to Visit First Annual Whiskey Warmer

Stephen Wilson, Johnnie Walker Brands United States Master of Whiskey is set to visit the west Franklin community of Westhaven during the first annual Whiskey Warmer tasting celebration on March 7th, running from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample 32+ whiskey, bourbon and other spirit brands. Many brands available for sampling are made right here in Middle Tennessee, while other regional, national and international brands will also be in attendance. This rain or shine event will take place outdoors, at the lake on Front Street, at the entrance to Westhaven, and will benefit The Westhaven Foundation, which was founded in 2007 to build, enrich and preserve the local Franklin community.

Stephen Wilson has been the host of the Johnnie Walker Journey and The House of Walker Experience at events all across the country since 2006. The event features an interactive tasting table showcasing custom whiskey mixes that complement the tasting experience.

“It’s up to you,” said Wilson about enjoying your whiskeys. “Enjoy your whiskey the way you want…add a little water, add a little ice. Have fun…experiment. See which way you enjoy it,” Wilson said.

Tickets are $35 in advance, and limited quantities are available. Tickets include a commemorative rocks glass provided by Johnnie Walker and a pass to live entertainment with Guthrie Trapp.

Sponsors include Westahven, Johnnie Walker, BMI and the Nashville Film Institute. Summer Classics will be on-site providing outdoor furniture and fire-pits for guests, and Eli Mason will provide a signature cocktail bar, along with great local food, via The Grilled Cheeserie food truck.

Attendees at the event must be 21-years of age or older, and no children, strollers or pets will be allowed. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.westhaventn.com, and click on Whiskey Warmer or contact the Westhaven Realty Sales Office at 615-599-1764.
