The list is out. And the top fashion retailers might surprise you. Discount shopping stores have held the top spot in the past but now a full service retail store has taken the top spot.
And the winner for the favorite fashion retailer is—Nordstrom.
According to Women’s Wear Daily (WWD, the results came from a study conducted by Market Force Information, which surveyed approximately 5700 shoppers. Important factors included “the in-store atmosphere, the shopper’s ability to create an outfit, speed at the checkout, [and] the ease of finding items and sizing.” Plus, participants rated retailers on the value provided, sales associate service, and the brand’s e-commerce experience.
Its the fourth consecutive year for Nordstrom to take the #1 fashion retailer. The list is completed by Marshall’s at number two followed by a tie for third with Ross and H&M.
Nordstrom is located at the Mall in Green Hills and will celebrate its five year anniversary this year. Nnordstrom is known for its excellent customer service where employees will order an item that you can not find in the store. In addition, Nordstrom also offers custom bra fittings, shoe fittings, personal stylist, in-store alterations, and complimentary wardrobe and shopping service. Followed by the opening of Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack opened in Brentwood back in 2014.
H&M opened recently in the CoolSprings Galleria as part of the Sears renovation wing, offering fast fashion at a reasonable price. CoolSprings Galleria is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation. H&M opened its second location in Tennessee with its first location at Opry Mills shopping mall.
