The trip there is always fun, the trip back can be exhausting. And for many, especially in the Mid-State, the weather won’t help. Sunday and Monday are traditionally the busiest travel days of the Thanksgiving holidays, and a weather system from the West won’t help matters as wind and copious amounts of rain move into Tennessee.
Today thru tonight calls for basically a washout with an inch or more of rain expected. An 80% chance of more rain on Monday will cause problems for both motor and air travelers on the 2 biggest traveling days of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Depending on where you and where you’re coming from or heading, ice and snowmay be a bigger issue.
