March, many of us have heard the saying “If March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb” and vice versa. Based upon this week’s forecast, March’s ending will be just as confusing as it’s beginning. Just a head’s up, Wednesday and Thursday are Darrell Waltrip Weather Alert Days.

  • Today:  Enjoy today, it’s going to be decent. Tonight rain moves in. But, on the bright side the temps will rise after midnight. Of course this will leads to tomorrow’s dilemma…
  • Tuesday: Highs tomorrow in the mid 60’s can only mean one thing, impending storms. We’ll get to enjoy part of the day before winds begin to howl at 30+ mph. by the afternoon ushering in heavy rains and storms (presently no severe weather is predicted) Tuesday night. Localized flooding could be an issue.
  • Wednesday: By the time you awaken Wednesday morning you will notice a considerable temperature difference , and not for the good. Heavy rains will transition to freezing rain, sleet, and ending possibly in snow as temps fall all day.
  • Thursday: Four letters we are tired of repeating: C-O-L-D. Never above freezing and a low of 10* by that night.
  • Friday the sun comes out.

Of course this is subject to change. Watch our new weather radar and page for updates: www.williamsonsource.com/weather
