WCSO Lt. David Brewer Honored with Award

David Brewer

A Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputy and his favorite charity were honored with an award from Toyota of Cool Springs. Lt. David Brewer was named Deputy of the Month for May. Toyota of Cool Springs will make a donation to the Tennessee Wildlife Federation in his honor. The TWF is the largest and oldest organization in Tennessee dedicated to the conservation of the state’s wildlife and natural resources through stewardship, youth engagement and public policy.

Lt. David Brewer was selected for the award because his investigation led to arrests in a hit list and a bomb threat at Williamson County Schools this year. His assistance in the investigation of two home burglaries also led to those cases being solved. Lt. Brewer is the SRO at Independence High School. He has worked at the WCSO for 30 years.

Toyota of Cool Springs General Sales Manager Kris Krabill presented a plaque to Lt. Brewer and Toyota of Cool Springs will donate a check for $150.00 to the TWF.

Each month Toyota of Cool Springs will honor a WCSO deputy and a charity.
