WCSO Investigates School Bomb Threat

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious email that contained a bomb threat against Ravenwood High School. Williamson County Schools learned about the email late Tuesday night and alerted the WCSO. Sheriff Jeff Long said the email is similar to the email threats that were sent to Metro Nashville Public Schools this week.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Brentwood Police and Williamson County Schools Safety and Security Director Michael Fletcher conducted a thorough search of the Ravenwood High School campus on Wednesday. There was no evidence of anything suspicious or unusual found during the search.

Investigators are working to determine the source of this threatening email while Williamson County Schools remain closed this week for spring break.
