Victoria Beckham Target Line Released to Mixed Reviews

Target

Victoria Beckham released her new Target line last weekend. Past Target collaborations have included Lily Pulitzer, Missoni, and Zac Posen, just to name a few. With each collection releasing on a Sunday morning, those devoted Southern Belles consider skipping church that day to snag one of the coveted items.

When we visited the store late Sunday evening, most of the collection was still intact Targeton the rack with a broad size range available.

As we perused the racks, we overheard one shopper claiming it to look more Willy Wonka-like than high fashion. What that shopper was picking up on was undoubtedly the bright colors – the pink is very hot pink and the orange a very bright orange bordering on “construction orange.” Both hard colors for most women to wear.

But we did like the black and white items which were few to be found.  In particular, the black sleeveless top with the white scalloped trim which you could pair with the matching black pants (seen to the right).

On the Target Facebook page, fans had mixed reviews some stating “Meh, not terribly impressed” or “Not my favorite line.” While others stated excitement for purchasing all of the items they wanted from the collection. As of Sunday night, Ebay had items for sale at four times the retail price.

Victoria Beckham for Target ranges in price from $6-$70, with most items under $40, and will be offered in sizes XS-3X for women and NB-XL for girls, toddler and baby. The collection will be available April 9 through April 30, 2017.  Watch the video below to see a sampling of the collection.
