Two Williamson County Residents Arrested in Two-Year Drug Investigation

A two-year-long investigation by Special Agents with the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration has resulted in six individuals being arrested and facing multiple drug charges.

Following an investigation that began in August 2015, on Wednesday, Agents with the TBI and DEA, along with officers with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, executed a search warrant at a home on Downey Drive in Nashville, and at a residence on Cooks Court in Brentwood. More than 30 pounds of marijuana was seized from the Downey Drive location. Six men were arrested, and charged with drug-related offenses:

Adan Cruz Barragan, DOB 08/13/1987, Mexico. Possession with Intent, Conspiracy of Controlled Substance Marijuana, Conspiracy of Controlled Substance Meth. $400,000 bond.

Daniel Matus Torres, DOB 04/17/1996, Mexico. Possession with Intent, Conspiracy of Controlled Substance Marijuana. $300,000 bond.

Abelardo Cruz Barragan, DOB 02/21/1983, Brentwood, TN. Conspiracy of Controlled Substance Meth, Conspiracy of Controlled Substance Marijuana. $300,000 bond.

Ricky Lee Daniel, DOB: 09/21/1975, Franklin, TN. Possession with Intent, Conspiracy of a Controlled Substance. $125,000 bond.

Carlos Martinez Garza, DOB 07/29/1972, La Grulla, TX. Possession with Intent, Conspiracy of Controlled Substance Marijuana. $300,000 bond.

Daniel Arreola, DOB 01/12/1991, Rio Grande City, TX. Possession with Intent, Conspiracy of Controlled Substance. $300,000 bond.

These individuals have been booked into the Davidson County Jail. Due to the ongoing nature of this investigation, booking photos of the individuals arrested are not available at this time.
