weather

Severe weather is expected this afternoon and into this evening in Williamson County and across the region as the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy continue passing over the area.

The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for Williamson County until Saturday morning:

“Expecting heavy continuous rain throughout the Middle Tennessee area, the highest amounts will occur in areas northwest of Nashville, but with plenty of moisture and a strong surface low moving in Friday, heavy rainfall could impact most of the area with the potential for flash flooding. Rainfall across the area may also lead to rises on rivers and lakes this weekend.”
