Opening in the former Carnivore Market location in downtown Franklin on Columbia Avenue, Triple Crown Bakery plans to open in August.
Franklin resident and pastry chef, Alena Vaughn knows her way around a kitchen, graduating from The California Culinary Academy (now Le Cordon Bleu) in San Francisco, she began her career cooking at the Ritz Carlton, and then baking at Zov’s Bistro & Bakery.
Vaughn has been selling her bakery goods at the Thompson Station Farmers Market held at Homestead Manor as well as other places in Williamson County.
Selections of pastries include custom made cookies, cakes and pies and they even make wedding cakes. You can also find a selection of Triple Crown Bakery breakfast items at The Good Cup in Grassland.

Carnivore Market now called Carnivore Meat Company moved from its Columbia Avenue location to The Factory in Franklin in June.
