Top Five Christmas Albums this Season

Holidays are times of memories that often include sights and sounds.  Here is this year’s round up of the best  new Christmas music to add to your playlist this season.

 

1.  Michael W. Smith –  “The Spirit of Christmas”    A compilation of songs with the some of country music’s most sought after performers, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Nettles, Martina McBride, Vince Gill and one Lead Singer of U2, Bono.

2. Darius Rucker – ” Home for the Holidays”  is the fifth full album release by Rucker. “I am so excited to finally make a Christmas album,” shares Darius. “This has been a lifelong dream and I hope my fans enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it.”

3. Idina  Menzel – “Hoiday Wishes”  Most known for the the song  from Frozen ” Let it Go”.  Tony Award winning Idina Menzel began singing on Broadway with one of her most notable performances in Wicked.  And we just heard there is a sequel in the works for Frozen which was one of the highest grossing animated films of all time since its release in November 2013.

4.  “Christmas with Nashville ”  enlists the cast of the show Nashville for a 12 tracks of Christmas classics from your favorite cast members including sister duo, Lennon and  Maisy.

5.  Sara Evans – ” At Christmas”  Evans says, “The holidays have always been a very special time for me and my family to get together and give thanks for everything we have been blessed with, this album was my way of celebrating that tradition and hoping to help other families out there celebrate the holidays.  Speaking of family, Evans two daughters, Oivia(12) and Audrey (10)  can be heard on a special version of 12 Days of Christmas.
