Native Tennessean, Sarah Wright, has been ice skating since she was two-years-old. Her grandmother put her first pair of ice skates on her and she never looked back. Now, she’s traveling all over the country with Disney on Ice presents Frozen.
Sarah hails from Morristown, TN (near Knoxville) and auditioned for Feld Entertainment right out of high school. Prior to her Frozen tour, she landed roles in Disney On Ice Presents Princess Classics and Disney on Ice Presents Mickey and Minnie’s Magical Journey. Sarah says she loves being on tour, “nothing beats seeing a new city every week!”
One of her favorite things about skating in Frozen is “seeing the smiles on faces of audience members,” she said. We’re sure there will be a lot of smiling faces at Bridgestone Arena Oct 1-5 when Frozen hits the arena.
“In our more than 30 years of producing Disney On Ice shows, Feld Entertainment has been waiting for a film like this,” says producer Nicole Feld. “While it might seem obvious that Frozen is well suited for the ice, this Disney On Ice production will touch audiences emotionally through innovative show elements and world-class skating.”
