Thompson’s Station Oktoberfest Will Benefit Two Nonprofits

Thompsons Station Oktoberfest

Thompson’s Station Park will be filled with blues, rock, pop and country music on Oct. 29 at the Thompson’s Station Oktoberfest 2016, a Third Coast Music Festival for a Cause.

The event, organized by guitarist-producer Rick Armentrout, raises money for the Alzheimer’s Association Mid-South Chapter and the Gauge Stevens Diabetic Dog Fund (animals trained to alert diabetics to dangerous fluctuations in their blood sugar).

The all-day event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. features constant music as well as classic cars, exhibits and vendors, and food booths.
