Williamson Medical Center (WMC) Group’s Scott Lieberman M.D. will open up at the Thompson’s Station Tollgate Medical Plaza building in January. Lieberman is an internal medicine physician and will be adjoined by the WMC-owned physical therapy office, outpatient imaging and lab draw station.
Lieberman has been part of a successful practice in Franklin, Williamson Primary Care, and will be relocating his portion of the practice to Thompson’s Station under the new name Williamson Medical Group. “I am privileged to be on the forefront of Williamson Medical Center’s expansion into the communities we serve,” Lieberman said. “This is an exciting time for me as my family and I have lived in the wonderful community of Thompson’s Station since 2002. To be able to practice medicine and serve the community where my family and I live has been a lifelong dream.”
WMC owns the Tollgate Medical Plaza building and WMC executives felt there couldn’t be a better time to bring much-needed medical services to the growing area. “We are excited to open our doors in Thompson’s Station,” said WMC Chief Operating Officer Julie Miller. “This has been a project we have all been working on behind the scenes and are looking forward to bringing these medical services to a growing part of town where we have heard from residents about the need for us to be there.”
