Eat the Street Foodtruck Festival, Franklin’s food truck-themed fundraiser, returns for its sixth run on Friday, May 5th, 2017.  Since 2012, area food trucks have gathered to serve hundreds of enthusiastic diners, and to support the 21st District Recovery Court.  Over 10,000 people attend annually.

The Eat the Street Foodtruck Festival was Franklin’s first major foodtruck event.  It still remains the largest foodtruck festival in Williamson County.

2. Franklin Balloon Fest

One of the most visually spectacular festivals is happening in just a few weeks in Franklin. The Franklin Hot Air Balloon Fest is a family-friendly, fun-for-all event with live music, entertainment for kids and a spectacular hot air balloon “glow” after the sun sets.

3. Garden Festival

The Williamson Co Gardener’s Association is teaming with the Franklin Farmers Market for the 2017 Garden Festival on May 7th from 10a-4pm at The Factory in Franklin.

Admission for the Festival is free. The Garden Festival is being held to support the WCMGA’s mission of providing and encouraging educational leadership for better horticulture practices and environmental stewardship in the community and providing an opportunity for everyone to enjoy and purchase plants and gardening related items to support the future WCMGA demonstration garden in Williamson County.

4. Renaissance Festival

Travel back to 16th Century England. Our Village of Covington Glen comes alive with the bustle of a Renaissance Marketplace. Over 60 skilled Artisans from all over the country display their wares from silks to swords; from gems to jewels. Flavors, aromas and tastes of specialty foods and drinks greet the festival-goer. Hear the sounds of Renaissance musicians and merrymakers as they echo through the trees. Color, movement, and peals of laughter welcome those who thrill to the challenges of Games of Skill and Man-Powered Rides. Come join us at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival!
