Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Record Theme Song for “The Shack”

New York Times best-selling book The Shack will become a motion picture released in March of 2017.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill recorded the theme song “Keep Your Eyes on Me” written by Shane McAnally, Lori McKenna along with McGraw and Hill. The name Lori McKenna might sound familiar –  she is the songwriter for McGraw’s CMA Song of the Year and the American Music Award Favorite Country Song.

‘The Shack’ stars Sam Worthington and Octavia Spencer along with McGraw. Mack Phillips [Sam Worthington] spirals into a deep depression causing him to question his innermost beliefs. Facing a crisis of faith, he receives a mysterious letter urging him to an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Despite his doubts, Mack journeys to the shack and encounters an enigmatic trio of strangers led by a woman named Papa [Octavia Spencer]. Through this meeting, Mack finds important truths that will transform his understanding of his tragedy and change his life forever.

McGraw also appeared in Disney’s ‘Tomorrowland’ in 2014. McGraw \and Hill will begin their Soul2Soul tour in April of 2017 kicking off in New Orleans with a stop in Nashville on Friday, August 4th at Bridgestone Arena.
