The Village is a brand new United Methodist Church in the Lenox Village/Nolensville area that began weekly worship gatherings in January 2016, meeting at 10am on Sundays at Sunset Middle School (200 Sunset Trail.) At The Village,they believe that everybody needs a village, a place where you can belong and grow to become all you were created to be. They desire to serve and love their neighbors and community and they’re asking for your help to pray for 1,000 hours straight!
You read that correctly, The Village wants to pray as a church for over 1,000 hours straight during the season of Lent.
Lent is a 40 day season of the Christian Year before Easter where Christians focus on simple living, prayer, and fasting in order to grow closer to God. The Village wants to collectively spend the entire season praying for our community, for our neighbors, and hopes to be the presence of Jesus to a hurting world.
