Basket Weaving At Williamson County Library

Need help finding a job? The Williamson County Public Library is offering a class on internet job searching, Friday July 27th from 2-4 P.M. at the Franklin branch. Come learn the DO’s and DON’Ts of online job hunting, how to create a search and more.

Do you like Art? July is featuring Gale Haddock at the Main Library in Franklin. Her work in pastel, oils and charcoal concentrate on figures and landscapes. There is a beautiful display in the gallery hall. Go check it out.

Go on Saturday around 2 P.M. and your teens can participate in the Children’s Theatre meet sponsored by the Anime Club.

Also on Friday, July 27th is the free weaving class at the Fairview branch. Ages 8-18 are welcome to learn from Donna Stokes-Rogers how to make a messenger bag out of newspaper. Examples are on display in the library.

Spring Hill is having their book sale from 9-3 this Saturday, July 28th. Hardback books and movies are just a dollar, and children’s books are 50 cents.

Brentwood is also hopping with a water colors class from 1-4 P.M., Saturday July 28th. Also on the same day exercise classes for $5 are available, featuring restorative Yoga, Tia Chi, and walk fitness.
