The Ham Family Band Will Kick Off Porchfest

Westhaven Porchfest, a music and art festival that transforms porches into performance stages and streets into a makers fair, will take place from 4 – 10pm on Saturday, June 18. Located in Southern Land Company’s Franklin community Westhaven, this year’s event will feature more than 100 musicians and over 50 of Tennessee’s highest quality local makers, crafters and artisans.

Local bluegrass group, The Ham Family Band will be the main stage opener for this year’s Porchfest. They represent an eclectic mix of bluegrass, country, and on occasion, a little soul.

The Ham Family Band is a father and sons act that moved to Franklin four and a half years ago.They began to play together just two years ago, delighting and entertaining crowds whePrever they play. A large portion of their music is homegrown and original, offering you a peek into the life stories behind each song.

The Ham Family Band has played a variety of venues, including BB Kings and Puckett’s. They were also honored to be the host band at the Country Ham Festival in Spring Hill.
