The Big PayBack is Here

The Big Payback is back today, Tuesday, May 5.  This 24-hour, online giving event is designed to increase philanthropy in the 40 counties they serve. The goal is simple – inspire Middle Tennesseans to come together, show their pride in their community, and contribute to support the life-changing work of local nonprofit organizations. Donations will be accepted in a 24 hour period through their secure website and through authorized, secure giving forms on participating nonprofits’ websites.

How It Works
Starting at 12 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, lasting 24 hours, donors can make gifts to participating nonprofits located in or providing services in the 40 counties of Middle Tennessee. Donations will be amplified by matching funds, bonuses, and additional prizes. It will be a race to the finish!

The Big Payback Plaza Party
Thanks to the Nashville Predators, the Smashville Plaza in front of the Bridgestone Arena will turn into The Big Payback Plaza Party on May 5, 2015.  You can check it out from from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. At the party, you can meet participating Big Payback nonprofits, enjoy food trucks, giving stations, giveaways, music and much more. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite nonprofit to help them win a $1,500 Pop-Up Prize.

The Big Payback Party Bus
The Big Payback Party Bus is back! Thanks to Grand Avenue, Big Payback volunteers we’ll be riding around Nashville on May 5, telling everyone about this historic day and presenting check presentations to winning nonprofits. Click here to view where the Party Bus will be on May 5, 2015.

The non-profit organizations that take part in Williamson County include: African Leadership, Against the Grain, Battle Ground Academy, Best Buddies of Tennessee, Brightstone, Davis House, Feed America First, Mercy Community Healthcare, Show Hope, Tucker’s House, United Way of Williamson County, Waves, and CASA of Williamson County.  To see the complete list of the 75 non-profits participating, go to the Big Payback website.
