Tennessee Soccer Club Hosts Weekend Tournament

Tennessee Soccer Club

Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) is hosting the Tennessee Invitational tournament (TNI) this weekend. More than 330 teams from nine different states will compete in the annual sporting event that brings thousands of visitors to Williamson County. Games begin today and continue through Sunday at fields in Franklin and Brentwood.

Boys and girls from ages U8 through U19 who are on teams from ‘Select’ through ‘Premier’ – which denotes skill level — will participate in the competition. Games will be played in Brentwood at Crockett Park and Granny White Park; and in Franklin at the Williamson County Soccer Complex, Independence High School, and Trinity Park.

“This is a huge event that we look forward to every spring,” says TSC tournament director, Jimmy Drain. “We’re excited to host so many teams — especially those traveling from out of state– and to show them not only what a great soccer town we have, but what a great place the Nashville area is to visit.”

TSC alone has 81 teams competing in the tournament.

“There’s going to be a lot of great soccer being played over the next three days and we welcome those who want to come out, show their support and enjoy all the action,” adds Drain.
