A teen was arrested Friday morning for allegedly bringing a gun on Centennial High School’s property Friday.
Police said the teen, who is not a student at the Williamson County high school, was spotted in the hallway by school administrators.
The teen admitted to the school resource officer that he had a gun in his vehicle. The SRO went to the parking lot where he found shotgun shells, clay targets and an unloaded rifle wrapped in a jacket.
The teen, whose identity was not released, was taken into custody and charged with carrying a weapon on school property and criminal trespassing.
He is being held at the Williamson County Juvenile Services.
Earlier in the day, Centennial High School was evacuated after the school received a threat.
Police do not believe the two incidents are related.
