Blake Shelton Ole Red

Blake Shelton’s downtown Nashville restaurant and entertainment venue Ole Red is officially open!

Blake Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. held a grand opening for Ole Red on Wednesday, June 5. Ole Red was also used as the film site for NBC’s TODAY Show on Wednesday. Hoda Kotb and Blake Shelton hosted an official pre-party for the 2018 CMT Music Awards from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The Ole Red property on famed Lower Broadway in the heart of downtown Nashville sits on Broadway sprinkled among other celebrity bars offering two floors of dining along with a rooftop bar with picturesque views of Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena, and Broadway.  Just ahead of the opening, they announced acclaimed chef Garrett Pittler as Executive Chef of the 26,000-square-foot restaurant and entertainment venue. We spoke to Pittler on Wednesday who told us the current favorite on the menu are the Redneck Nachos which consist of Kettle Chips topped with Smoked Chicken, Rotel Cheese Sauce, Pickled Peppers, Avocado, Sour Cream, Barbecue Sauce, and Green Onion.

Take a listen to the press conference held at Ole Red where Shelton talks about the first time he saw the building, how the song Ole Red was his first song given to him shortly after he arrived in Nashville and how this venue will be different than others on Broadway.
