Tai Carter rushed for 130 yards, Payton Craig had 110 and Tyler Palmer added 106, leading Summit to a 57-6 rout at Columbia.

Carter, Craig and Dalton Fisher each rushed for two touchdowns for the Spartans (7-3, 5-2 Region 5-5A), who outrushed the Lions 505-38.

Summit built an insurmountable 50-0 lead in the third quarter after scoring 22 in the first, 21 in the second and 7 in the third.

Columbia quarterback Darien Davis completed 14 of 22 passes for 171 yards. He also rushed for 25 yards and one TD on 16 carries for the Lions (0-10, 0-7).

Summit finished tied for second place in the league with Shelbyville (#2) and Stewarts Creek (#3), but will be a No. 4 seed entering the playoffs after multiple tie breakers.

The Spartans will visit Region 6-5A champion Cane Ridge (10-0) Friday.
