Harrison Rody scored the game’s only goal with just eight seconds left in overtime to lift Christ Presbyterian Academy to a 1-0 victory over Fairview in overtime on Tuesday in the Region 6 A/AA soccer tournament.
The Lions, who improved to 13-4-1, advance to Thursday’s championship game against Page, which downed Grace Christian 3-2.
Fairview’s season ends at 11-4-2 falling for the second straight season in the region semifinals.
In other action involving Williamson County teams, the Franklin Rebels knocked off Glencliff, 5-0 and will face Antioch for the Region 6-AAA championship on Thursday.
Franklin (9-4-2) got two goals each by Sam Case and John Conner Craig in the rout after Grayson Sherrell had gotten the scoring started for the Rebels with a goal in the 14th minute of the game.
