Spring Hill Wrap-up: Shelter, Street Cleaning and Ribbon Cuttings

Spring Hill is a busy place as we informed you in last week’s series. Shelter Insurance’s State Headquarters will be built on Hwy. 31 in Thompson’s Station and is scheduled to open in May according to Shelter President and CEO Rick Means. Shelter is leaving their current digs in Cool Springs where they temporarily located after selling their home of the previous 25 years in Nashville for a new two-story, 30,000 square foot, $5 million structure.

Street Sweeping will commence in Spring Hill February 19th and continue through February 28th. Residents are asked to remove all vehicles, trailers, basketball goals and other items away from curbed area until your street is completed. Teams will be working during normal daylight hours.

More businesses continue to open as Big Box Overstocks proved today with a ceremony from Noon to 1 p.m. at their location 2021 Wall Street. This retail store specializes in name brand overstock items, from 20-50% less than widely known retailers.  They will enjoy refreshments & the cutting of the ribbon a few minutes after 12 p.m. Friday, February 8th is the ribbon cutting for Vintage 615 the newest Antique Mall in town. Visit them in the Commons next to Jack of Hearts BBQ.
