It’s no secret that Spring Hill is one of the fastest growing cities in Middle Tennessee. The City of Spring Hill Officials are now playing catch up to the increased traffic congestion issues that are now plaguing this small but growing city.traffic report

Spring Hill residents have very few options in way of roads or interstate on-ramps if they want to travel to Franklin, Brentwood, or Murfreesboro. The most traveled road out of Spring Hill is Highway US 31 in either direction and it ranks #4 on our Williamson Source Traffic Survey for most traveled arteries.

From our survey, 158 residents live in Spring Hill but only 43 of them work in Spring Hill. Showing that most of them are driving into Franklin and Brentwood. This survey is based on 1,025 respondents, so imagine the numbers if all 30k of the Spring Hill residents took the survey!

Next week, we’ll report the intersections you said were the worst.

For the most part, Spring Hill is a bedroom community where people live and then drive to other cities to work. This is slowly changing but stats from our survey show that the majority of people don’t live where they work so this just feeds into the huge traffic issues we have.
