Spring Hill Town Square Master Plan Flyby

This could be the future of the downtown area in Spring Hill! This is the plan representatives of the project Spring Hill Town Square presented to the Board of Mayor of Aldermen on 8/31/2015.

Representative of Insight Properties, the Downtown Association of Spring Hill (DASH) and the Tennessee Children’s Home presented the plan for the potential development of the 103 acre property to the public. Insight Properties is asking the City to explore utilizing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) to fund a portion of the infrastructure of the property and development of up to 40% of the space for civic and institutional proposed uses, including a new City Hall, City Library and Public Park.

Besides city hall and the library, the project would ultimately include approximately 320,000-square-feet of office, restaurant and retail space and up to 600 residential units to be built out over a period of 7 to 10 years. 40 percent of the property would be maintained as city park space, including a public amphitheater around the existing lake with a focus on festivals, concerts and family activities.

This stunning visual representation of the Master Plan was produced by 906 Studio Architects (906Studio.com) and Gamble Design Collaborative (gdc-tn.com).
