UPDATE: Spring Hill High School Evacuated

At approximately 8 am on Friday January 30, 2015 a device was found at Spring Hill High School in the boy’s bathroom. The appropriate authorities were notified. The school was promptly evacuated and the scene was secured. With the cooperation with Tennessee Highway Patrol bomb squad, the device was rendered safe. The school has been turned back over to the school system. One suspect has been charged in relation to this incident. No injuries were sustained due to this incident.

Spring Hill High School was evacuated  today. Spring Hill Police Department has confirmed there was an unknown device found at Spring Hill High School.

Students have been safely evacuated from the building.

Students who do not drive to school are being taken to Spring Hill Middle School by bus. Parents can pick their children up at Spring Hill Middle School. Spring Hill High School is not in the Spring Hill Police Department jurisdiction, therefore all calls regarding this situation should be directed to Maury County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (931) 380-5733.​
