Splash Pad at Franklin Rec Center Opens Soon

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation pools will open soon, including the new splash park at the Franklin Rec Center. has announced that the department’s four outdoor pools will be open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29,

The department’s four outdoor pools will open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, from 10am to 4:30 pm (weather permitting).

Outdoor pools are located at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd.; the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr.; the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd.; and the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd.

New to the Franklin outdoor pool this summer is a Splash Pad, which will be located next to the pool. Construction on the water playground will wrap up soon and is expected to open May 29th when the pools open.

The indoor facilities and amenities in Franklin, Spring Hill, Fairview and Nolensville, as well as the Indoor Sports Complex at 920 Heritage Way in Brentwood and the Williamson County Enrichment Center, 110 Everbright Ave., will be open on Memorial Day from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Timberland Park, located on the historic Natchez Trace Pkwy., will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All other facilities will be closed.

Summer memberships can be bought in person at any of the complexes.
