Softball Roundup: Brentwood Pounds Ravenwood

Brentwood High pounded rival Ravenwood, 15-2, Tuesday in high school softball action.
The game was dubbed “Pack the Park for Patton” Night to honor Elizabeth Patton, a member of the Ravenwood softball team who died due to a rare condition known as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome.
The Lady Bruins dominated the game, taking a 1-0 lead early, and then scoring six times in the fourth inning to put the contest away with a 7-0 lead.
Hannah Koenig was not only the winning pitcher for Brentwood, but also had a home run in the sixth inning for the Lady Bruins.
Brentwood improved to 15-4-1, while Ravenwood fell to 5-7.
In other action from Tuesday, Page edged Marshall County, 5-2, while Spring Hill was shut out 5-0 by Cascade.
