Annie Bruns delivered a three-run home run as the Brentwood Lady Bruins held off Summit for a 9-7 softball victory on Tuesday.
The Lady Bruins built a 9-1 lead, and then weathered a six-run rally in the sixth inning by the Lady Spartans, who made it close at the end.
In other softball action involving Williamson County teams, the Page Lady Patriots slipped past Giles County, 4-3, while Marshall County hammered Christ Presbyterian Academy 19-1.
