The public is invited to join The Reserve at Spring Hill for a ceremonial groundbreaking May 18 at 3:30 p.m. to celebrate a new senior skilled nursing and assisted living community in Spring Hill. The ceremony will take place on Reserve Boulevard near the Station Hill Drive intersection.

At 71,000 square feet and $20.6 million, construction of the new center will begin in July and will be completed in fall 2017. The center will be conveniently located near TriStar Spring Hill ER. The center will include 30 assisted living apartments and 68 private skilled nursing rooms, including 18 short-term rehabilitation suites.1

The Reserve at Spring Hill will be a senior community that provides a full array of services including assisted living, post-acute short-term rehabilitation, and comprehensive 24/7 skilled nursing care. No matter an individual’s level of need in a given season of life, continuity of care within our community can be provided. These health services will provide an opportunity for our residents to “age in place” and minimize the likelihood of future moves. We recognize our residents come to us from many different situations and walks of life, and that influenced the way we designed The Reserve at Spring Hill. All of our rooms are private suites that include individual bathrooms. It’s our belief that you shouldn’t have to give up your privacy just because you need nursing care.

“As Spring Hill’s first skilled nursing center, we want to give area residents the option to stay close to home for care in recovering from an injury, illness, or surgery. In conjunction with our long term care private suites and our assisted living community, we will offer a continuum of care that will address the needs of today’s seniors,” said President and CEO of Exceptional Living Centers, Tom Watts.

The construction team will employ more than 80 workers while the site is under build. Once open, the center expects to bring 100 new jobs to the community including nursing, administrative and support services. Exceptional Living Centers of Lexington, KY will develop the project through opening and manage the daily operations of the center.
