Scout’s Barbershop Sets Opening Date for Franklin Location, Offers Free Haircuts

With three successful barbershops already in East Nashville, Sylvan Park, and the Gulch, Scout’s Barbershop will open a new Franklin location (in the historic firehouse on West Main, next to Seersucker Candy) on May 6. This marks the company’s first expansion outside of Davidson County.

A neighborhood barbershop for men and women of all ages, Scout’s has built its reputation on affordable haircuts and southern hospitality. Within its thriving community of stylists and customers, conversation is encouraged, networking is welcome and the drinks – including Tailgate beer and Barista Parlor coffee – are always free.

“I’ve always loved Franklin and we have a lot of clients who live south of Nashville so we wanted to be a part of Main Street where we can be a part of the energy that exists but we also wanted to bring something new to Franklin,” said owner Brooke Allison.

As part of the grand opening, Scout’s will be offering free haircuts on Saturday, May 6 for guys and gals then on Sunday, May 7 kids under age 11 can get a free haircut. No appointment needed for the free haircuts, simply show up to the Franklin location. For those who receive a free haircut, Scout’s will offer Tailgate Beer, Barista Parlor coffee, Five Daughters Donuts, King of Pops and Live music by the Farmer and Adelle.

Recently, GQ magazine featured Scout’s Barbershop, following country music star, Drake White for a day in Nashville. Follow Scout’s Barbershop on Facebook for more information.
