Scene Around Town: Mardi Gras Ball 2017

Mardi Gras Ball Queen and King, Linlee and Brandon Allen

Mardi Gras Ball 2017 was held on Saturday, February 11 in Franklin benefitting My Friend’s House. This year the event raised $96,000, the most amount ever raised.  Linlee and Brandon Allen were selected as King and Queen of the Ball.

My Friend’s House began its work on behalf of at-risk youth in 1982. As a nonprofit community-based organization, they have sought to meet the service/support needs of the youth of our Williamson County communities and referrals from Middle Tennessee. Their focus is to help our youth change negative behaviors, learn to make good choices and provide opportunities to grow and develop into responsible young adults. Learn more about My Friend’s House on their Facebook page.
