Rippavilla Hosting Lawn and Garden Show

spring hill lawn and garden show

Spring fever? Rippavilla has the remedy – the Spring Hill Lawn & Garden Show in The Barn at Rippavilla March 25 & 26.

The event starts Saturday morning March 25 and goes through Sunday afternoon, all full of activities for all ages. This is also the first public event at the barn at Rippavilla.

While on site, visitors can also tour the mansion and stop by the Spring Hill Bakery located in the gift shop.

Admission for the show only is $5 for anyone 13 or older, and $2 for kids.

To get into the show and get a mansion tour it is $10 for ages 13 and up, $7 for under 13 and free for ages 5 and under.

Also, the first 500 visitors will receive a free Virginia Christmas Pine seedling.

“Spend the day attending various demonstrations from Beekeeping 101 to Outdoor Smartphone Photograph,” Corrine Tomlinson, with the show, said. “If you are shopping for a new lawn tractor then TriGreen will be your favorite booth. We will also be offering a hayride to the mansion, and really want to show the public that the city is working to provide activities at Rippavilla.”

Earlier this year, the city of Spring Hill voted to take over stewardship of the historic plantation.
