Rebecca Davis from Jondie gives us her 5 Fashion Tips for Teens this Fall.

Last week,  we featured Jondie’s back to school fashion with local area teens.  This week, Jondie sat down with us to give us five fall fashion tips for teens.    Rebecca Davis says  ”  At JONDIE, we keep a wide assortment of current and upcoming trends and love to help our clients find the best items to add to their wardrobe. We have new items arriving several times a week and we are really excited about the Fall and Winter trends that are coming in.” Here are a few tips for dressing your daughter (or yourself). DSC_0053-2   Layering is key. Putting a long cardigan, lightweight blazer or kimono over a tank top is great for the current weather. As the weather gets colder adding more layers can create a really pulled together look. Try a moto jacket over a denim button down over a tank or lightweight sweater for a very stylish look. Also a button down flannel top under a chunky sweater would be really cute with leggings. croptop Crop tops are a big trend and are really cute paired with high-waisted jeans or high-waisted skater skirts. This way there is no midriff showing, but you still get the look that is so popular right now. boldprint   Bold prints – especially tribal or nordic prints – look great and will continue to be a fun way to update your current wardrobe. graphicprint   Graphic tees are in high demand and fun to wear. We can’t get enough of the cute graphic tees that are in the boutique right now. They look great layered under many of the cute jackets and cardigans for fall. There are so many ways to express your own personal style. And for winter, there are so many amazing hats, scarves, thigh high socks and boot cuffs. Thanks again to Rebecca Davis at Jondie for these great fall tips.  Be sure to stop by Jondie on Main Street in downtown Franklin for all of your back to school fashion.  If you have a story that you would like for me to share, contact me at [email protected].
