Students and parents of students who attend Ravenwood High School should be aware of some Raptor events, including a new year kickoff party, rummage sale and cheer fundraiser:
Raptor Rally
Come out and join the Raptors as they kick off the new school year and football season at the annual Raptor Rally. The event will be held Thursday, August 14th, with the RHS football teams taking on Brentwood Academy with freshmen beginning at 5:30, JV at 6:15, and Varsity at 7:00. Join the band, cheerleaders, dance team, faculty, and student body as they show what it is like to participate in a Friday Night Experience on a Thursday Night! Food and Spirit Items will be available for purchase.
Raptor Rummage Sale
The Ravenwood Cheerleaders will be hosting the 1st annual Raptor’s Rummage Sale this Saturday, August 16th from 8:00 – 3:00pm in the football parking lot at Ravenwood High School. Set a reminder to stop by and shop this community wide rummage sale to help raise funds for organizations such as football, choir, band, dance, volleyball, and others. Food and drinks will be sold throughout the day.
Cheer Fundraiser
The RHS Varity Competition Cheerleader’s are hosting a ‘Family Night’ at McDougal’s Restaurant, 7215 Nolensville Road, on Tuesday, August 19th from 4-9pm.
Come show your school spirit and support the girls while enjoying a night out. 20% of proceeds will be donated to help fund Nationals in February.
