Public Meeting Set for Transportation Network Plan

The City of Franklin will be holding a Public Information Meeting in reference to the Comprehensive Transportation Network Plan on October 22nd, 2014 in the Board Room located in City Hall at 5:30 pm. The City of Franklin’s Comprehensive Transportation network Plan will develop transportation recommendations for the City of Franklin and its Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) through 2040.

The study will analyze and address multi-modal access and availability within those boundaries and will link transportation and land use in an area wide multi-modal planning effort that includes bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

The purpose of this meeting is to engage the public and identify solutions to help guide the future transportation network in the City of Franklin. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting. If they cannot attend but would like to give input into the plan they can go online to http://connectfranklin.mindmixer.com/ and give their ideas on a number of topics.  They can also follow discussions and give feedback on the City’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cityoffranklin.
