Christ Presbyterian Church’s annual ‘Party on the Lawn’ is set for Sept. 25 at the campus west of Brentwood.
This annual event is held on the front lawn of the church, located at located at 2323 Old Hickory Drive, facing Old Hickory Boulevard.
Christ Presbyterian has contracted a vendor in South Carolina to set up a full size Ferris wheel at this year’s event. This theme park-quality ride will be open and free to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 25.
In addition, Party on the Lawn is going the extra mile to make this event user-friendly for children with special needs. Christ Presbyterian, well known for it’s ministry to children with special needs, has created a special “Fast Pass” for any family that has children with special needs. This “Fast Pass” allows these families to arrive early at the event, and get “front of the line” privileges at every ride. Party organizers tested this in 2015 and it was a big hit with these families.
