It started out as a close game, but the Panthers of FRA got hot in the 2Q and pulled away from the St. George’s Gryphons on Friday afternoon in the Div AA Class A Finals at Lipscomb University.
FRA shot over 52% . They held the Gryphons to just 35% from the field and out rebounded them 41-34.
Doherty led the team with 22 points. Roop had 17 , including 8-8 from the line and 13 rebounds.
FRA will play for the Div. II Class A State Championship Saturday night at 7:30 at Lipscomb
