The Page High School community is now struggling with the loss of a member of its senior class after a car wreck Monday morning.

“Page High School is struggling to cope with the sudden loss of senior Savanna Biles,” Page High School principal Shane Pantall said.

“This morning’s news has been a heavy burden on those who knew her well and those who share in the close nature of the Page community. There is no way to adequately measure the degree of loss; the shock has yet to register fully across the school. Savanna’s smile, pleasant demeanor, and cheerful optimism will be missed greatly. As her peers wrestle with this difficult news, we quietly pause to acknowledge the weight of the moment. Page High School is a family, and Savanna’s loss will be grieved by many. The entire Patriot family extends its deepest sympathies to her family and friends.”

The loss of Biles marks the fourth student to pass away to a car wreck since Thanksgiving for Williamson County Schools. Centennial lost senior Jim Cheek in an accident in Dickson County. Summit High School lost former student Morgan Fell after a car accident in Alabama. Riath Al-Shawi of Ravenwood died after a wreck in South Nashville.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported a fatal car accident at the intersection of Arno Road and South Carothers Road early Monday morning. No further details have been released on the accident.

There is no information regarding a vigil at this time.
