Page Celebrates 40 Years With Alumni Basketball Game

school headerAs part of Page High School’s 40th anniversary this year, the school is hosting an alumni game versus Franklin High School alumni on Saturday, Nov. 7.

There will be two women’s alumni games and two men’s alumni games, divided into two time periods.

“We are very proud to be celebrating our 40th year at Page High School,” says head boys basketball coach Ralph Ringstaff. “This alumni game is a great way to bring out former students to represent the PHS and FHS one more time.

Ringstaff’s father James Ringstaff served as the school’s first basketball coach in 1975 until his death in 1997 and is the namesake of the James R. Ringstaff Gymnasium.

“Page High School is special to all of us in this community and we really want to encourage our alums and Franklin’s to be here to mark this anniversary,” Ringstaff said.

The first time period will be the graduating classes of 1976 through 1995 followed by the next time period for graduating classes 1996 through 2015. The games will consist of four 8-minute quarters with a running clock.

Alumni of Page or Franklin High Schools who are interested in playing in the anniversary game are encouraged to sign up today. Click here to sign up.

Registrants are asked to include their name, school and graduating year in the sign up fields. For more information, contact Ralph Ringstaff at [email protected] or 615 417-5387.
