One of the Most Influential Travelers Visits Williamson County

Scott Eddy

Scott Eddy, former Stockbroker has now turned into the digital “go-to” guy for the travel industry. Eddy was most recently ranked #2 in the world on Klout’s ‘most influential in the travel industry’ list.

In 2009, Eddy fell in love with Twitter as a way to network with like-minded travel people and it turned out that people liked what he had to say, so it became his livelihood. Invited by the Tennessee Tourism to visit Nashville, Eddy spent a week in Nashville with a day trip to Franklin and Leipers Fork.

“While here he visited Leiper’s Fork, many of the shops and galleries out there plus stops at Country Boy, Puckett’s and Leiper’s Fork Distillery. He also checked out downtown Franklin, Gray’s on Main, the Franklin Theatre and stopped by Carnton Plantation. He also went down to H. Clark Distillery in Thompson’s Station and over to Arrington Vineyards,” said Matthew Maxey, PR Coordinator for Visit Franklin.

“It was just a quick stop on his bigger tour of Tennessee this time, but he was wowed by Williamson County and truly wants to come back to spend longer here,” Maxey added.

Take a look a few of the photos that Eddy shared on his Instagram while he was in town.

Love the way this tequila cocktail looked, at @GraysFranklin in #Franklin #Tennessee.
