O’More College of Design Students Featured on Today Show

Students from O’More College of Design were featured on NBC’s Today Show website. Word of their partnership with Gigi’s Playhouse for a recent fashion show on the college’s campus spread quickly, catching the attention of NBC.

For the fashion show, each participating student was paired with a child ranging from 6 – 10 -years-old from Gigi’s Playhouse, the only nationwide network of Down syndrome achievement centers. GiGi’s Playhouse is an inspirational and dedicated place for families to celebrate their child and benefit from free programs that unleash joy, confidence and continuous improvement.

The student’s fashion challenge was to get to know the child they were paired with and design a garment that would fit their needs, which often meant no buttons or zippers.

During the show, the student walked with the children as the audience cheered for them. Read the Today Show story here.

Soon afterward, Pop Sugar also featured O’More’s student fashion show. See their Facebook post below.

Congratulations to O’More College of Design students and staff.
