Offensive Woes Linger for FRA

The Franklin Road Academy Panthers just can’t find an offensive attack.

A week after being limited to seven points, the winless Panthers (0-5) were shut out Friday 27-0 against Friendship Christian (2-3).

FRA’s offense especially struggled on the ground against the Commanders. It was forced into -23 yards gained, while giving up 338 yards to Friendship Christian in the rushing game.

Quarterback Eric Stoxstill-Diggs was the best offensive performer for the Panthers. He threw for 144 yards on 11-of-20 passing. He had one interception.

Lance Wilhoite and Riley Speed added 57 and 45 yards receiving, respectively.

FRA will again try for its first win next week at Ezell-Harding (3-3) on the Eagles’ homecoming night.

The Panthers shut out the Eagles 45-0 last season.
