William Caudle Pennington, age 88 passed away July 4, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Thompson Station, TN and member of Thompson Station United Methodist Church. Inductee in the Walking Horse Hall of Fame for his horse training and winning several championships.
Preceded in death by parents, William Ernest and Lucille Caudle Pennington and sister, Martha Pennington Shaneyfelt. Survived by: brother, Marion (Karen Baird) Pugh; nephew, James Robert (Kristina) Pugh and great niece, Lizzie Pugh.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, July 7, 2017 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Edwin Murray officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Mark Whittaker, Don Ellis, Marko Simms, Matthew Lazenby, Bobby Richards and Chris Richards.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Thompson Station United Methodist Church and friends in the Walking Horse Association. Memorials may be made to Thompson Station United Methodist Church.
