Anthony Michael Smith, age 37, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Anthony was born September 30, 1979 in Flint, Michigan to William “Marty” Smith and Rebecca “Torres” Smith. Following graduation from high school Anthony worked as a waiter at Logan’s for 10 years then moved on to JB’s Pour house in Hermitage, TN. Anthony has always had a beautiful personality and that could be seen in his work with other people and his passions. He was truly a gifted artist, and lover of music and dance. To compliment his artistic side, Anthony also had an intellectual side. He found a passion in computers and became a self taught Computer-Whiz. More than anything Anthony loved people, and people loved him, because he was a kind, gentle, and generous soul.
Anthony is survived by his mother: Becky Smith; father: Marty Smith; brothers: Zachary (Diantha) Smith and Joshua Smith; niece and love of his heart: Cailyn Grace; grandmother: Delfina Torres; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his dog: Lulu.
Anthony is preceded in death by his grandparents: Eloy V. Torres and Donald and Elenor Rachar; favorite aunt: Irene Griener; and cousin: Sarah Lemcke.
Services for Anthony will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN with reception to follow. The family will visit with friends Friday, March 24 2017 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. also at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN.
